The Dream Dairy & Creamery

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Laurie who grew up in a suburb of a very large city on the west coast of the United States of America. She loved animals, and dreamed of owning a pet store or being a veterinarian. It turned out that during the first 20 years of her professional adult life, she didn't follow her dreams, for reasons much to complex to write about here and now. She eventually moved to a ranch in Idaho, where she learned about raising goats from a very good friend. She raised Tennessee Fainting Goats and a meat goat breed named Boer. After several years, Laurie fell in love with dairy goats, and she learned to use their milk to make wonderful artisanal cheeses. After ten years in living and working the Treasure Valley desert, Laurie moved 300 miles north to attend the University of Idaho to study Dairy Science.
